blending colours

I have seen some modern paintings where the colours are finely blended in horizontal lines. How do you do this?

Cleaning brass coloured taps

My brass colour taps have gone a nasty blacky greeny colour and I can't get them to look nice and clean again -- and as for the plug hole - yuk!! Any ideas on getting them a gold colour again?

Nice Smelly Soap

I used to buy Virgin Vie Soap which had a lovely smell and lasted throughout the bar. Can't get it any more. Can you suggest some nice fresh smelling soap that doesn't lose its smell ??
