Birmingham Xmas Lunch Thread Update..

I opted for the Garden house, hagley rd, and wasn't at all disappointed. Lovely restaurante, just recently refurbed. What was to come, was a delicious home made feel to it, 3 course meal. £21 each. Washed down with a pint of purity real ale.

Is anyone here going to Wetherspoons on Christmas Day? It costs a heady £34.99 per head for an adult and £14.99 for a child. You have to book up in advance but if you go there before it only costs £8.25 for a meal and a drink.

isn't wetherspoons food 1step up from fast food? the prices you quoted must either mean they're having a laugh, or the quality has improved.
