Over half a million kids will receive their GCSE results today and I wish them Good Luck.

But I bet some stuffed shirt will appear will pop up on the media and say that exams were much harder years ago !

I cant remember indulging in groups hugs when I got my exam results in the seventies. Just opened the letter, had a look, thought 'oh well that'll do' then put em in a drawer and that was it.

I did my GCSE's as a mature student. I got so engrossed in an answer in English that i had hardly any time for the other questions. Still got a 'B'.
