Starting to think about our holiday. We are going in Motorhome to Croatia for 3 weeks. Started to think about missing sunday crosswords. Had a brainwave Get daughter to buy MOS and scan the general knowledge crossword to me.
Very chuffed with my idea I told OH. He gave me one of those pitying looks and said " How will that work, you won't have a printer?" Did I feel stupid?
An yone else have one of those brilliant ideas?

Doesn't the Mail on Sunday publish its crosswords on line? Times, Telegraph etc certainly do...

I don't know Mark, never thought of that, must investigate.
Not such a stupid idea. Print it out at an internet café
Oh yes Caran and only today. Cazzz wanted some info on air coolers. Some are said to be noisy but the one I have is quiet. "What a pity Cazz can`t try mine out ." I thought. "Still, when I go on AB I can hold the laptop near the cooler and that way Cazzz can at least hear it."
I`ve had a dim day all round today.

hc4361 I have never sed an internet cafe, how do they work, what do you do?
Question Author
sorry not sed - used.
Why don't you just buy it. Croatian newsagents will have it on the Monday.

You do not get any supplements abroad, the crosswords are in a separate supplement in a plastic bag with all the magazines.
Oh right, didn't know that :-(
Its the same with the Daily Mail Rewards numbers which have to be entered online to get High Street vouchers - I buy the Daily Mail abroad at a huge cost but the supplements aren't included so I lose those numbers which is so annoying.

Ann that was why I started to think about this. I will be 2 rewards short so have got daughter to buy sat/sun mails and either input for me or email numbers, maybe first option if I can't get a signal I will be snookered.
The Mail On Sunday clearly states that
photocopies are not permitted.
I can see a nasty case of 'cold turkey' on the horizon !!
