Its been a beautiful day today and we've spent it in the garden clearing the veggie patch and cutting back hedges. All done and cleared away now and I'm sitting outside with a cup of coffee enjoying the evening sun.
I'm making the most of it as this time next week it'll be dark. 5pm - 6pm on an the last day of summer, what are you doing where you are?
Jacket potatoes - lovely autumn food and great for warming the kitchen too. We have roasted pots, parsnips and squash on the go - off to rustle up an accompaniment. Cauliflower cheese I think.
ratter is right, today was lovely, but last night was lovely too! We sat out in our secret garden with our hounds until long after it bacame dark, grilling hamburgers on the grill and sitting in our nearly finished summer house with just a few candles lit. It was so romantic and so lovely and calm. Look forward to doing that more often, regardless of the weather! :o)
No worries Boo I've had them myself. Check the poison every couple of days and top it up. Keep topping it up until you finally find it regularly untouched. Its likley to be dead by then but not necessarily yet.
I didn't put the poison down maidup, the rat man who i called out did- he's coming back in a month. Should I get more? Awww, im sorry, i'll keep my rat convo to my thread about it, not fair using yours like this- sorry.
