It starts at the very base of my skull, unilateral, and goes up the back of my head. The real sore point is the base of my skull. I have been lifting weights at the gym but the pain came on 3 days after the last time I had done so. A colleague at work has had a similar pain for the same amount of time - could this be a virus? Seems a bit odd that. Or have I somehow pulled a muscle - is it the trapezius muscle that is in that area.
Ibuprofen takes away the pain but there is always a dull ache. Should I avoid the gym for a while?
"Weight training is supposed to help prevent osteoporosis"
Oh, good. I went for my depo injection a while back and had gained about 3lbs. The nurse told me I was going to get osteoporosis and die so I can rest easy now I've started doing some weights in the gym.
