I, sensibly, posted a question in yesterday's Motoring section, expecting 'sensible' replies - the replies I got were worthy of CBer's rather than mechanics, so I may as well post here anyway.
I have, what my daughter described as, Rolf Harris under my bonnet (Peugeot 307 1600 petrol) playing his didge. I would describe it as the sound of a whirring v1bration... & lordy knows I'm familiar with that sound.
I have no sensible replies yet & it's there again this morning. When I take my foot off the accelerator mostly. No Hopkirk - I haven't looked under the actual bonnet, I don't know where the thingmyjiggerypokery bit is to lift it up. It could be just a stuck leaf? It could be next door's cat?
