Also, I suspect there will be regional variations - London workers will probably be paid more. 

Of course T4F's comments, and mine, are referring to the UK.  We don't know where you are, but as this is a UK based website, that's why we've said what we did. 

Internet sources I've found confirm T4F's suggestion that it's NMW, presumably plus tips in fries, or all the BBQ sauce you can nick!

You have to be 16 to work at Mcdonalds. The pay depends on your age, it goes up when you are 18, 21 etc. It's good pay though, I was earning �100 a week at the age of 16 which i thought was reasonable. catch is though that you kind of smell of burgers when you finish a shift!!
