good for you wendilla pet, I love trifle, not sure if it'll lie alright on the booze tho'
HE-HE

Hey Wendilla - I must admit to being a tad partial to my homemade trifle, in spite of not really having a sweet tooth.

Bobbi... how do you prepare/serve your turnips then? I tend only to use them diced in stews/casseroles, etc.
Its got 2 choices Bobby but at the moment it is going down well. I do my meat in my slow cooker . Comes out much better than in oven.
It appears that the OP is ignoring me. Either that or he/she doesn't know what calamari is. ;-). Off to walk the dog before lunch, the little scamp loves it almost as much as I. James.

NoKnow.... fancy that ! lol
I will mash my turnip with some butter NM adding pepper as I do, must admit it isn't mt favourite of veg but Bill and s.i.l enjoy it so I do it
:)
Question Author
Turnip is not my favourite veg, Bobbi, hence why I hide it in stews. But I may try it mashed with butter sometime... just to see what I am missing. x

NoKnow... pished last night?

I would not mention it if it were no good No Mercy. I have even lied and said that I made it. The price is far less than you would pay for the ingredients. Do try a pack if you ever see it in Lidl.

There is a Lidl in Gandia, but I never take that exit. It's right opposite Carrefour, so there's no reason why I can't pop in there. But they do stock different products over here.
NoMercy, Carrefour, so you also live in Spain? and to buy a paella kit is a disgrace! Mixed paella is the best and should only take no longer than 30mins. Ugh and I hate squid in it. Have you noticed that in a lot of restaurants they put lots of chopped squid in with the arroz - disgusting.
Just read Gandia, so where exactly ar eyou?
