This has probably been asked before, but I'm fairly new to AB. Is it worth making a special journey of 10 miles to fill up when the price difference is 87p versus 82p?

That's a sound idea cazzz, but living out in the sticks doesn't always make this possible.
I would think of the type of fuel + the petroleum comp that sells it Chrissa, If you are talking of shell/ BP etc that's up to the person that needs it, but if the fuel was from a cheap market Comp I would think twice there has been a lot of damage done to the valves etc to many modern cars of today by people that think they are saving money, Myself I own a German car It cost me a few bob so I do not believe Buying cheap always works out for the better.
