You mention your upper stomach sticking out??? I take it you mean the top 2 abs of your stomach, well mine does as well and I think a lot of peoples do. I wouldnt worry about it.
I think the only way your gonna be able to show off your muscles is if you get to a point where your happy with your strength, start working more on your cardio. Run a little bit further on the treadmill, do a couple of extra miles on the bike, put the resistance low on a rowing machine and see if you can beat an olympian time (which you should be able to do with little resistance)
This way your gonna start to burn fat, but not at an incredible unhealthy way.
Also if you do try the cardio get somebody to look at your body for you, they will see all the differencs you wont.
