What a waste !

Has anyone else ever thought about what a waste of time (not to mention our money) it is to have these signs on the motorway which light up & say FOG when you can't see the end of your bonnet !! No S**T - I'd have never known !

I'm determined to get to bed ('cos I planned to get to Southwold on Saturday but got up too late. I don't want to do the same on Sunday).

However I hate leaving unanswered questions. I can only assume that Stewey must be in the USA. In which case 'bonnet' translates as 'hood' (and 'boot' translates as 'trunk')

13:32 Not exactly an answer to your question (but not totally disconnected from the subject - ie: motorway signs)
I have to say that the ones that amuse & baffle me are the matrix ones on the central reservation, which - when you can't see the the end of your bonnet, say "FOG" (!!!)
