well theres no need to cry over it.

Sorry... I'll get me coat

sprinkle bicarb of soda over the area leave for a while and vacuum off, though if it has soaked right into the sound proofing behind the carpet then you may have to get a steam cleaner and use that.

Sprinkle some aftershave or perfume on your manifold, it'll go through your air intake and asap.

Failing that, buy a 'fridge egg'

Spill some tinned fish in there... that should mask the smell of the milk ;o)

Get ya crunchy nut cornflakes!!!!

sorry, i couldn't resist.

Chuck is right. Bicarbonate of soda is great for getting out odours.
I had the same problem - neutradol carpet cleaner did the trick
BTW it was milk and beer - from recycling containers!
I go with chuckfickens.

soda bi carb soda bi carb soda bi carb.!!!

the only way. When area is wet sponge with soda bi carb mixed in water. allow to dry then rub in the soda bi carb leave overnight then vacuum or brush out can be repeated.
Its brill for all stinky smells on carpet and such. For puppy accidents blot up then splash soda water on prevents stains and smells
