I am in the middle of changing my ISP to Sky and boy are they incompetent. I really hope I don't live to regret this move. All was going well, I received an activation date, my old ISP bowed out and Sky even phoned us to tell us our broadband was now live!! But all along we kept telling them, we have not received the wireless router!! They have promised it this week!!!! But I am not holding my breath. Anyone else had trouble with SKY Broadband??

Hi Joe, I really hope my router comes this week as they promised!!

I guess I am one of the unlucky ones!!!
funnygirl just a thought, if you still have your old BT router you may be able to just change the user name and password in that and use that with the sky broadband until the new router arrives.

I have tried to do that and it won't accept my new details
which I have figured is something to do with SKY.

Probably someone else could do it, as I am not very computer technical!!
if it is a largeish silverly gray box with a BT logo on it then try using the setup wizard in the admin pages rather then entering your details directly into the correct section in the admin pages.

BT routers won't let you enter any email address for a username thats not a bt one, but somebody forgot to put this block into the setup wizard so if you use that it bypasses the block.

Did that make sense :)

Chuck, she couldn't possibly do that,
she 's brain dead.
