youv'e been with your partner for a long time now... only your just about to break up with them and they announce that they just won a million on the lottery, what do you do...
A: give it another year see how things go.
B: finish it anyway knowing you wont see any of the cash
If I am planning on leaving the relationship, then it is because I am unhappy. My happiness is far more important than money, so there fore I would still leave. x
B, but not because of not seeing any of the cash,I would go, no amount of money, false promises of what might or will be would keep me where I was not happy, this is not a rehearsal, life is for living not regreting,
I suppose it would all depend on why you were splitting up really, I mean If it was because of money troubles, and you could work things out as to why and how you got into difficulties in the first place, well all well and good. But if it was bacause of any other reason -well no good flogging a dead horse............money isn't everything
Well if you have proof you have been contributing to the household for six months or more, then you are entiltled to half of what your partner has. So if you were still together when they won the lottery, you should still be able to get some of the money.
But personally, I'd leave too. If the relationship isn't worth staying in then it wouldn't improve because of money.
