where I can find good clean accomodation in or near Sheffield for a period of about six to eight weeks, starting beginning of May, as my job is taking me there temporarily. thanks in advance.

i'd use good ol' rightmove. select to rent, type in sheffield, select any other specifics you have (ie. flat, 2 bedroom etc) and on the 'type of letting' drop down box select 'short term'

when i just did this now i brough up over 100 results, but you can filter this down if say you want a 1 bedroom flat furnished, (it gave me 41). you can search by postcode and within a certain radius as well to get the area spot on. enjoy!!

Hey Corrie-anne,

You could always try the tourist information as I believe their accommodation is inspected.

Is there a University near by? If so they usually rent out their accommodation relatively cheaply.

Hi Banjosister,
thanks for the info, i think i am sorted now, one of the ABers on here has kindly offered to help.
my problem was that i needed fast access to doncaster robin-hood airport, as i work as one of the cabin crew on an airliner, and I also needed access to Sheffield, as our office is there,but at the same time i needed access to the M1, as I could be moved to east Midlands, Birmingham, or even Gatwick, at short notice, thanks anyway.
