I received two ticket from a camera on a street in london. while I was waiting after dropping someone off. 3 minutes later I ledt to find parking, during this time I made a few phone calls. I have contested the tickets and they have rejected saying that at no time can I stop on a single yellow line. it is so infuriating that I can't contest this fine of over 200... PLEASE HELP! Steve
they have me on video....
but surely if we can't drive while on the phone then.... we should be able to stop to make a call. It was saturday morning on a quiet street!!!
there is a solution out there.....!
I spoke to a parking attendent and he said it would be fine for a minute or two... the camera has that recorded too!
I think that it was a reasonable amount of time.... I wasn't abusing the limit!
NO LIES ARE NEEDED!!
You can't just stop anywhere and make, or receive, a phone call. Blimey, if you could think of all those planks sitting on the hard shoulder of the M25 in the rush hour.
The camera may have picked you out speaking to a parking attendant but it certainly didn't pick out what was said to each other
No parking means no parking, not even to drop some one off
ojread I agree you can't sit making phone calls on yellow lines, but according to the highway code you can stop to drop people off there.
It states that yellow lines indicate no waiting.
