I have just received through the post a letter granting me this rebate, I have to take it to the post office and claim my money, is this the way they do do it now, seems odd, has anyone else claimed their rebate this way?
Using Haringey Council's website as an example here: "If you do not pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit, we will send you a voucher for £150 you can cash at any UK Post Office. We will send the vouchers between April and July." https://www.haringey.gov.uk/council-tax-and-benefits/council-tax/help-paying-council-tax/council-tax-energy-rebate

Thanks for all the advice, I do pay my council tax by DD and I did wonder why they didn't pay me direct to my bank, its not a great problem just a minor inconvenience of getting to a post office.
