Morning all, up and dressed an ready to toddle out for a paper and a coffee. Been switching duvets over after the bed linen session yesterday, all nicely air-dried on the breath of a Cornish breeze.

Good and bad news from the home in that the Mater is now showing negative after ten days and the bad, two more inmates were tested positive in yesterday's round. No visiting permitted therefore.

i am going to have a shower shortly, so have a good day all - stay safe.
For me, this morning will be taking on Total Energy viz the account on my mother's shop which lies empty. They gave an estimate meter read of 40000 KWh as of transfer back in February last year and this has climbed to 44500. still an estimate. We have said impossible as the power has been turned off....the meter is kaput. It has taken them a year to organise a new meter to be installed - and still not finished as an electrician has to come in for inspection and hooking the wires up - 4 thick bare wires left.

That's why I went to the shop last week, to let them in, the meter ker-nackered and no read showing. Anyway, got an email yesterday from the engineer with a photo showing a meter read of 24400, and on that basis a delta of £12500 in theory....no bills for us and I'm going to argue for the 1 day equivalent electricity used for the roof repair plus the standing charges should be gratis given the hassle and petrol used in this past year. The ex tenant is due a very large sum. A pain in the proverbial it has been.

Me too, a coffee beckons - bye.
