tagliatelle, home made cheese sauce, and I sauté off bacon or panacetta, a little onion and chopped leeks, and add some chilli or chipotle, lots of black pepper and then over the top before it goes into bake, breadcrumbs, pecorino and cherry tomatoes. Fresh parmesan or pecorino to the plate with italian parsley....
I "make" most meals from scratch. Wouldn't call it cooking - only do that on special occasions - but love to throw things together. Pasta with almost anything thrown in - prawns, chicken etc with a mixture of herbs and tomato sauce. Quick and easy for me.

That sums up my approach too. It makes for some interesting combinations (e.g. for a very fast meal, sardines and baked beans mashed together a bit and then 2 minutes in the microwave)
