How are they coping for food and toilet facilities?

I feel awful for them especially if they're not near any services :o(

I'd have hoped that the portaloos and catering facilities that were talked about a few months ago have been brought into play.
Not stranded, resting and waiting in eager anticipation of what will surely be a swift and glorious result from tough negotiation.

This was always part of the plan, to rest drivers and have the fresh and ready to go.
One of the drivers earlier on today said that the local authorities had organised accommodation in local hotels last night but now that a lot more lorries have arrived, he thought they would be sleeping in their cabs tonight.

My OH drives a utilities van for work. It has a hot water urn, microwave, small fridge and a toilet (not all together)
I understand the Sally Army has stepped in. Never a good idea to rely on any government agencies at a time like this.
