I was watching this but missed something because I was talking on phone with TV sound off.
It was about animals in towns and cities and I just turned the sound on again to hear David A say that this particular city had the highest concentration of leopards.
Does anyone know which city he was talking about. Thanks.
Really eerie to see them in urban surroundings. But the saddest thing on that programme was the plight of the little hatching turtles. They normally find their way to the sea by the light of the full moon. But so many now are disorientated by the lights of hotels etc. and they make their way towards them instead. I know some places are setting up turtle protection areas - like Zakinthos in Greece for example.
That's good to know Rosie, poor things, I hope it happens.
Love Gordon Buchanan and watch him whenever he's on. First remember him with the bears in USA, wonderful programmes.
