We could do with some independent reliable stats- eg what proportion of the time do staff have the required PPE when they need it compared with not having it when they need it. Clearly they do have it most of the time but is it 75% (not good enough)? 90% (still not good enough), or 99%.(approaching acceptable but really 100% should be the aim). Clearly wer not near enough to 100% but how short are we?
At the moment there is no clarity- critics give the impression there are significant shortfalls, Hancock etc claim they are providing record numbers, ramping it up, rolling out a plan, etc.
