Does anyone else feel a little bit emotional at midnight on New Year's Eve? I always do - don't know why though

Not as a rule, 237...but this year is different. Some people who matter to me have died in the past few weeks.....one man in particular...he made such a huge difference to my life and to so many others. He died suddenly and much too soon and he'll be as angry as I am that he's not here to to do everything he'd planned for 2019....
So yes, a bit emotional tonight that so many of us are beginning a year without him...x
