The image for our house is over 10 years old. Its annoying as we've done a lot of work on the font since we bought it and it looks a right old tip on Google Earth.
It may depend on where your house is (do not answer this, obviously). Street View in Germany, for example, was last updated in 2010, and is unlikely to be updated further there any time soon.
I'm not sure on the situation in the UK, but in general, the further your home is from major roads and locations, the earlier it's likely to be. My house was captured on Street View twice, in 2008 and 2012, and so far not since.
Further to The main image has 2016 but street view is 2011///
Just one thing has occurred to me. Is the whole street 2011 ? I have come across occasional cases where just one old image is slipped into a later sequence (whether for technical or "objection" reasons i wouldn't know).
Google goes where the money is.
Our town's business section will be rephotographed soon - special deal.
The rest of the town - whenever.
Your house is not a priority.
