Fluff In Washing Machine

a hankie or something was left in machine and its covered my washing with white fluff,what can I do to get rid of it,have already washed it 3 times.

Stick it in the tumbler with the heat off. It will slowly collect on the filter.

I have something similar to this.
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/60109436/. You can get washable ones, or some where yoy pell off the used strip and there is another underneath.

The tumble drier will work. Hoppy is right.
