E-fax is constantly advertised on the radio. How does this work? The ads say no fax machine is needed and faxes can be sent from an iPhone. How can you send a document from a phone? Do you have to scan it?
I still don't get it. If I have a document I want to send from my iPhone by eFax, how do I get it on to the phone without scanning it? And if I have to scan it, why not just send it as an email attachment?
I haven't used AB for a while and under my question and answers, there has appeared 'Related Questions' which is not something I've seen before. In my opinion, the 'related questions' do not have any relationship to my question at all. Is this a new feature?
It's a new feature, Dudley, which is (I believe) still being tweaked by AB's techies. However most people don't seem to like it and it's resulting in google searches for particular topics bringing up loads of irrelevant pages (which is hardly likely to bring new users to the site)
Thanks Chris, I have to say at first glance it's change for change sake. Like you I've been on AB for many rears and it was better in the early days when it was simple and straight forward and there were many more helpful guys also like you giving their time to help others.
You mean the online fax service?First you need to get a Fax Thru Email service from legit provider like, http://www.xnynz.com/email/internet-fax.aspx?ci=1797&prog_id=456858 wherein you will be given a dedicated fax number which can be used to send/receive faxes through email. The ability to fax through any device with internet connection paves for you to receive faxes wherever you are and thus makes you always connected.
