Modeller - “... Now the interesting thing is that Noah's family of about 8 people didn't produce different species, as far as we know, but they did produce all the Chinese ,the Africans, Indians , Asians , Europeans, Eskimos...”
I applaud you for spending the time to comment on Truthabounds' posts on this matter. His arguments for a global flood and Noah's Ark are simply pathetic, desperate drivel spouted from the mouths of people who fail to understand physics, geology, chemistry, zoology, and of course genetics. I find it both funny and disheartening to read such utter nonsense. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
The very idea that a person or group of people could possibly build a floating platform/ship/boat that could house the entire planet's population of animals is an embarrassing one. I don't know about anyone else but I find it amusing that the Bible doesn't mention the very real practicalities of placing every species of animal aboard the ark. Since we have penguins, polar bears, kangaroos, pandas, snow leopards, lemurs, buffalo, sloths, aardvarks, possums, snakes, lizards, rats, voles, moles, termites, spiders, fire-ants, worms, beetles, etc., today, it is an inescapable fact that if the Noah story is true then all these animals and literally tens of millions more were collected.
It beggars belief that anyone can be that stupid that they believe a tale like that.
