Tambo i couldn't find the small numerals for the farthing or halfpenny.

Felly see my post at 23.35, It was just a bit of fun on here not really a competition.
Don't take it to heart.
Goodnight all.♥
Another linguistic curiosity is that the word "bob", meaning a shilling, had no plural form. We used to speak of a bob, 2 bob, 10 bob &c, never bobs.
night night gran - good bit of fun - my apologies once more. sweet dreams and ttfn ♥
On NumLk using numeric keys

AltFn 0188 = ¼
ditto 0189 = ½
ditto 0189 = ¾
That can't be right. How can the same key produce two different characters?
sorry - 0190
ttfn - thanks for the link but it only makes me more certain the answer is £1 as in the link a pair of knickers is shown as £2. However I think I'm taking this far too seriously -as askyourgran says it's just a bit of fun. I was thinking if it was a competition with a huge prize I didn't want askyourgran to miss out by 10 bob :)

1. apeknee 1/2d
2.a crown 5s 9.14 pounds £14
3.sick squid £6 10.guinia £1.1s
4.pennyfarling 1.1/4d 11.pound £1
