Do you think it is fair on big Sam , Sir Alex and Harry being forced to speak to some
parasites that they do not like. Will they be able to get away with just saying a few words and then some grunts. What would you do if forced to speak to someone you hate.
This is just 3 people of many who hate the BBC.
Alex Ferguson is legendary for his tightness, but he still buys a TV license. His dislike of the BBC is over a Panaroma investigation that implicated his son, but never amounted to an arrest or prosecution.
No at all like your situation, where you do not understand the rules even though they have been explained to you a thousand times.
// What would you do if forced to speak to someone you hate. //
Well, the BBC pay an awful lot of money (from the license fee) to show highlights of Premiership games, and that includes access to the player and managers for interviews. The clubs all get a cut of this money, and the managers are paid handsomely to perform their contractual duties (one of which is talking to the Beeb).
Do you think the BBC should pay for a product and then not get everything it paid for?
Did you agree with the poll tax gromit

People ignore, flout or do not comply with laws they consider bad, all the time. Which is why we no longer have Community Charge (Poll Tax). Many considered it unfair, so they demonstrated against it, refused to pay it or lobbied their political party to abolish it.
That wasn't arrogant or disrespectful. It is our duty as citizens to guard against bad laws, and do our best to get them revoked.
If you want to go and have a riot about having to fork out £3 a day for a TV license, may I suggest you bog off to Trafalgar Square, and give the rest of us some peace.
Thousands protested about the poll tax, but you seem to be in a very small minority in your dislike of the BBC.
The BBC is better than any other broadcasting organisation, they may have bad pennies same as everywhere else, this constant barracking of them gets very tedious.
as indeed are our parks (municipal and national) and our major art galleries and museums.
No hang on. They're not really free. We pay for them out of our taxes. Because we agree that, whether we like them or use them, they enrich our nation.
Just like the BBC.
Next time you see a Park Keeper or Museum Curator remember; according to some people, they are 'parasites'!
