Of ears, so he listens to advice?

Telegraph readers were asked if Meghan and Harry should be stripped of their Sussex title. 94% said 'yes'.

Other news sources report that the king is reluctant to do it.

If Meghan and Harry are so disappointed with his family and this country in general,. I wonder why they want to retain the title - or any connection at all? Perhaps it's because as plain Mr & Mrs Windsor their income wouldn't be quite as lucrative - and that makes them hypocrites.
naomi; see the first post on this thread
Khandro, I saw that but apparently those who are not of royal blood can never call themselves 'Princess' followed by their first name.

n. He would be a Prince, that's a biological fact (though a much contested one!) she could not be a Princess, that would only come as a birth-right. She would be, I believe, a Princess Consort.
i hate to break it to you all but this is how monarchy works… those who are inside the system including those who marry into it get to do whatever they like and enjoy its privileges and protections in exchange for a modicum of largely ceremonial work and donating a fraction of their unearned ancestral wealth to charitable causes…. if they pee you off or do or say things that upset you then you just have to lump it… royalty is by definition not accountable to anyone
Khandro, his title is not in question. She could call herself Princess Henry - but not Princess Meghan.
In one sense, anyone can call themselves whatever they want;
Count Basie, Duke Ellington - Lady naomi ?
Drat! My cover is blown!
Duchess Potatoes?
//Duchess Potatoes?//

That sounds rather a-peeling.

Sorry dougie. When you bowl em like that, they've just gotta be hit for a six!
Has Doug got a chip on his shoulder?
Just call me Spud.
Like the murphys, I'm not bitter.

How did Princess Diana manage it then?
She didn't call herself Princess Diana. The press and others did though.

It's OK, I've read the link now, which I probably should have done first!!

No, it wasn't the press and others - she was given the honorary title as a courtesy - and after her divorce she became 'Diana Princess Of Wales'.
Had a comparison turned up a match, then we would (!) have heard about it by now.

Luckilu no one reads my posts and even fewer comment on them. So I can repeat and they seem as fresh as the day I coined them

1. you need a hair root. ( hair cells here are clonal - far too technical for AB)
2. One of his ( Prince Hazza silly!) frenz at Sandhurst sold his hair brush ( contain hair roots see?)
3. and this was tested
4a mitochondrial DNA - as was used from the Duke of Edinburgh to Czar Nicholas and family. There was no heteroplasmy ( stop it stop it PP)
4. and Prince Chuck IS the father of Prince Ginge - official.
5. but we really always knew that didnt we? - even on AB - (OK not the mt-DNA and heteroplasmy bit)
AH, she was Diana, Princess of Wales before her divorce. It wasn't honorary. She was married to the Prince of Wales.
