I think who said it is very relevant.
Does any country claim it can boast that none of it's children are ever harmed ? If not does every country therefore have diluted national values ? Do they all have no future ?
The only thing any reasonable person can agree is that the daft rules of the EU and the inappropriately compassionate attitude of some who feel the emotion but fail to see the consequences led to the problems that now occur.
The stated court case is still ongoing. It sounds as if the Austrian laws are badly drafted if, not understanding a boy was saying, "No", is any form of defence, but again, who can claim their country has all it's laws in perfect state ?
No, the fact that Putin said it, is very relevant. It is to simply to distract folk for all the things he and his country are getting wrong. That is the only thing worth taking from the criticism.
