quite a few I would think.......
Wrong place, wrong time, but easy to get it wrong - like the lad charged with looting, whose mum said "he'd only gone in there for a look" - I guess the innocent get caught up with the guilty at these times.

I agree with boxtops. Did you see that guy being pulled off his motorbike Dr by the mob of rioters?
Question Author
boxy i have been waiting for this to happen

when the moss side riots kicked off a young lad from the club was arrested named and shamed in the paper

he had nothing to do with the riots but they would not listen
Question Author
Quassia yes i did watched it several times
I was sickened by it Dr.
Sadly, it's like those charged with other offences who get named before found innocent - mud sticks.
Question Author

Off on a tangent .. Did you see my post in music Dr regards the Peterloo Massacre in Manchester and the release of a cd to commemorate it?
... around 2 mins in you get the lyrics ..
Question Author
no not yet seen about a cd in a article in the paper
Question Author
Yes it was in the evening news. Will go and buy the c.d.
>>>>whose mum said "he'd only gone in there for a look"

Well one could argue "she would say that wouldn't she".

Anyway how does she "know", only based on what he may have told her.

I hope we dont start feeling "sorry" for these rioters and looters - "oh that prison sentence was far too long" that sort of thing.
My personal opinion is, people should'nt have been anywhere near where the trouble was. Yes I know there were innocent people passing just trying to go home .. but if you're loitering & having a nosy in the thick of it .. then you're going to get caught up in it!

Quassia thanks for that link think i will have to pop down for that
You're welcome Dr.

VHG sometimes people can get stuck in the area after work

It is not as if no one saw who did it. It was 5.30pm, there were lots of witnesses and people filming. Seems sloppy to get the wrong man.
