I don’t know if you are interested in a considered answer now, Bmw-Rider, after more than twelve hours of “Chatter”, but if you are here goes:

Magistrates’ sentencing guidelines (for England and Wales – I think they are the same in Scotland) only cover speeds up to 100mph in a 60mph zone. For that speed the recommended penalty is a fine of half a...

that's what i said JJ
Booldawg - except that the A9 is not dual carriageway - not in the 60 sections anyway.
Yes, I know.

I copied your answers over your shoulder, Dotty.
Okay. 102mph on a single carriageway is ... quite fast !!
lol, yes it is. blame BMW for making the bike go that fast.
LOL

My bike will go a LOT faster than that.

(so they say)
was there supposed to be something embedded in your message JJ? Damn firewall!

mine has 27 gears but I'd have to pedal like boll***s to get up to 102mph though.

No, BD ... nothing embedded.

You could get up to 102 going down Ditchling Beacon.

Although ... the bends are a bit tight.

I have a Yamaha Fazer, but I haven't ridden it for ages, cos I don't like it. A pal's hubby lets me borrow his Ducati from time to time.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wondered that doc, I did report it as 'other' and added the comment that i found the content of the OP upsetting, which is a personal thing, can't imagine one report under that category would trigger an auto suspension though,
Doc ...

No responses ... so he was suspended for being a bit boring !

Hey Doc, very cold and windy up here, hope your fishing spot is sheltered
"can't imagine one report under that category would trigger an auto suspension though,"

Jeez... how much clearer could the ED make the matter of "auto suspensions" (again)

http://www.theanswerb...s/Question947390.html

Quote
"THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE NUMBER OF TIMES A POST IS REPORTED AND SUSPENSION "

(I have no idea why BMW-RIDER would have been suspended)
p.s.

Jayne, I wouldn't want to try and get over 100 coming past the actual beacon at ditching beacon... those are sharp corners as you come over the hill!
-- answer removed --
so chuck does that mean tat because i reported it as 'other' it might have caused an auto suspension? Or does it mean it wouldn't have had any impact at all on an auto suspension?
Did I miss the bit where he said he was on a bike or are we just assuming that from his username?
and don't 'Jeez' at me Chuck it's aggravated me, lol
Good point, he does use the term 'driving' not 'riding'
