Just got to work and recieved a call stating my insurance has run out. My car is parked in a local car park, and the earliest i can renew my insurance is tommorow (no money til then) what do you suggest?
At the risk of hurting someone (or worse), I'd leave the car in the car park, take public transportation and remember the next time you receive reminders that you could end up in a pickle again if you don't pay your insurance on schedule.
Think of all the energy you'll be saving today as well :-)
I get paid tommorow. Would take out short term insurance but im 19 and they tend not to let you unless you are over 21. The main problem today is that i cant pay the deposit, which i can tommorow.
Having a driving license is a privilege, not a right. At your young age, Id hate for you to have to face one of lifes early lessons that when things go wrong, they can occasionally go horribly wrong!
I encourage you to be responsible and arrange to keep your car in the car park, not risking the lives of others, as well as your own future.
Ochnoo I would suggest that for one day play safe and use public transport it will your be your luck to get stopped by the rossers for something minor then it does not bear thinking about, you will finish up getting public transport for the next 12 months
good on you ochnoo. Again, for thr sake of a bus ride,it may take longer, but as everyone has said here, imagine the worst - fine, a ban, and you could kill someone and then you would be in the brown stuff!
Grab some change from you pocket and get a bus, play it safe mate!
