I've not watched it back yet, but it looked to me like that dog had a false snout on it, the mouth of which was presumably operated by remote control. When the dog walked off, in profile I'm sure the snout looked unusually long. If I'm right, that's not talent, it's cruelty. What did you think?
Ellipsis...thank you for that....its been a puzzle for me for years and now I know how to tell them apart ! I was relying on one of then having a "high forehead" up until now !
If I remember correctly wasn't there a ventriloquist in the 70's who had a talking dog? A parrot also was on the show. Have I jogged anyone else's memory?
I'm with you on this, Meryl, it's certainly not talent. I hate to see animals being used like this in the name of 'entertainment'. I didn't see the programme - just saw a clip someone had put on AB. That was enough for me.
I enjoyed the clip - not so much because I thought the act was particularly memorable, but because I had forgotten how cosmically gorgeous Alesha Dixon is!!!
