Obviously a lot of people must like it or it wouldn't still be on. Unfortunately - perhaps because I'm Irish, I don't know - I find it pretty irritating to the extent that I now have to switch it off the moment it comes on.
There was a programme on tv last week about Glasgow theatres and the guy who runs one of them stated that the live "Mrs Brown's" shows had helped keep that theatre open, so it can't be all that bad can it? Never watched it myself so I can't really comment on the tv shows, but they seem to be popular enough. We can't all like the same shows now can we?
I love it and think it's the funniest thing I've seen on TV in a long time. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get tickets for the live show in Liverpool last December, but apparently, the show is so popular they're making a film version. Personally, I'm looking forward to it.
I love it . Better than some of the rubbish that's repeated over and over again . Talent shows that are all fixed . Comedians trying to mock our long gone good ones . There will never be comedians like we used to have .
I can't remember which AB user went to see it live and was very impressed with the ad-libbing and found the cock-ups funny. S/he went and saw it again some time later and it was exactly the same in every way. :(
I beg to differ hc4361, a friend of mine went to watch the Mrs Brown's Boys live show three nights on the run and said Brendan O'Carroll ensured there was something different in each and every show.
