EDDIE51 - “I do not think there is anyone alive now who actually denies the Holocaust took place...”
How naive are you?
There are literally hundreds of millions of people who think the whole Holocaust story is a Jewish plot to justify the existence of Israel in the Middle East. Millions.
And who are these millions that I speak of? Mostly they are members of the Religion Of Peace [ROP]. You see, a great many members of the ROP are anti-Semitic to a degree that you probably don't truly understand. If you have read the Koran – as I have – you would know that Mohammed hated the Jews (the 'people of the Book' as they are described) because they mocked him for trying to suggest that their God – Yahweh – was in actual fact, an Islamic (moon) God. As a result, he despised the Jews with a burning passion for the rest of his life. Mohammed was a rather thin-skinned prophet as it turned out. As a result, anti Jewish passages are so replete within the Koran that they outnumber those in Mein Kampf.
If you still doubt the de facto hatred of Jews by members of the ROP, check out some Middle Eastern TV. All the countries surrounding Israel openly denigrate Jews on a daily basis. They claim that Jews drink the blood of sacrificial babies and that they are nothing more than apes and dogs. As a corollary to their complete vilification of all things Jewish, they deny that the Holocaust ever happened. They do this because – for most part – they support the extermination of the Jews. Just as the Nazis denied the existence of the death camps, they know that they're morally reprehensible and so deny their existence.
In short, the members of the ROP sow the seeds of anti-Semitism the world over. I personally know ROP members who say that they would not and could not be friends with a Jew. When I challenge them on this I just get a shrug of the shoulders and they defer to their religion. Hell, I'm an atheist and I get more respect from ROP people than Jews receive.
Ever wondered why the Labour Party has such a problem with anti-Semitism? Which voting bloc have they embraced in the last 20 to 30 years?
Do I need to spell it out for you?

Moss’s first post is nicely put and sums it up for me.
I went to Auschwitz a few years ago and it was a truly humbling experience - even just typing this is making the hairs on the back of my neck stand-up - so people who deny, what for me was the most shameful thing ever to have occurred, are indeed scum.

@13.42.Everyone assumes that the Tory Party has a few Islamophobes in their party, but the Labour Party as a"socialist"party should never have anti-semites and Jew haters amongst its ranks. The fact that Old Steptoe didnt do anything to silence these anti-semites is a stain on the Labour party in Britain.
