If face coverings are effective at preventing the spread of virus's such as Covid, then should we now expect to see a fall, this winter, of influenza cases?

And Britain might have known what to do, given that they'd recently run an exercise, and carred out a bigger one a dozen or so years ago. Did anyone think "Let's look at what the conclusions were?"

that even hem hem some of my epidemiologist colleagues missed also in their enthusiams to reduce:
covid = MERS = flu = piffle
and that is corona viruses Mers and Sars were primarily human to human so that by strict isolation, and attention to clean tecnic, you can control it

I cant recollect WHICH prof of epidemiology confused the two this week -
there is far too much of senior doctors sitting in their offices shuffling papers and coming out with Blah de Blah because they are too keen to spout outside their speciality
