Why are there still so many dirty so an so's around that don't wash their hands after going to the loo? I notice it nearly every time I go out, yesterday a quite posh talking woman came into the loo's in Morrisons with two kids, told the elder girl (about 5) to go in one cubicle and took a little boy (about 3) in with her, and when they were finished she told them to wait for her while she went, when she came out she looked in the mirror fluffed up her hair and put on lipstick, then they left, no move at all to wash their hands, no doubt to go round the shop touching stuff other folk would buy, makes me sick, has she not seen adverts for soap?

My OH and I used to clean our local commuity center including the Loos.
We always left them spotless, clean, scrubbed and disinfected but no matter how clean they were there was ALWAYS pee on the seats of the 'ladies' but never on the gents. Do females ever sit on the seat in a 'public' Loo?
Not really, Eddie......some of us tend to hover and I suppose forward hovering caused your problem......☺
No, I don't Eddie but I don't wee on the seat either.(at least I try not to)
Next time you are off work for a few days with winter vomiting disease you will know how you got it.
What really annoys me is mothers who let their toddlers stand in shopping trollies as if their darling's feet didn't touch the ground when they walk..
jom, that's what I meant earlier.
Oh Heck, I am a baddie then, If I take my shopping trolley with me I place it in the supermarket trolley along with my walking stick - but hey those trolleys spend half their lives outside, so there are the elements, bird poop etc

I will sit on a loo seat if it appears dry and unstained , I have no open sores on my buttocks - good hygiene is fine, overkill (unless you are vulnerable) is not me.
Tilly, I missed that, I must have scrolled down to quickly and jumped a post ..if you get my drift, not that I would knowingly jump a post, the potential for disaster is too great.

I am so glad that most of you agree with me, I open the loo doors with paper towel, then drop it in the first bin I come to, I must admit I am a hand washing fanatic so rather fussy in that way.
cecil, I think most colds are tranferred via doorknobs, why loo doors cannot be designed to open outwards puzzles me, I'd have thought it would be part of fire regulations.
isnt a bit of exposure to germs good for you? are kids suffering with all these allergies, nowadays, because of ott disinfecting etc.
I never eat peanuts that are left out on the bar.....seen too many blokes still arranging their tackle coming out the gents and going from one load of nuts to the other:-) Yuk!
Sweety, children are exposed to lots of germs in school. They can be disgusting at times, picking noses, scratching bottoms, sneezing in their hands. How I never became infected with worms is a miracle.
Cupes, the secret to germ free nuts ! is always swill your fingers in your drink before handling any nuts.
Your own I hope not someone elses, tony!
Of course, cupes lol.
dont touch other people's nuts
Especially, Svejk, if they've been soaking in WD-40.
Excellent nut lubrication that, stewey, plus gas is good for loosening tight nuts to !.
I feel the same cecil, can't abide not to wash my hands, they feel really dirty until I do wash them. I too have seen many women use the toilet then leave without washing their hands. It's really gross.
Never understood why hospitals do not have the sanitising hand gel at the exit to the loos.
