Incidentally ... Kate Moss is a good example of what a bit of self belief can do.
Sarah Doukas told Kate that she should try modelling.
If Kate looked in a mirror, she would not have seen classic modelling material. She was short (okay, not as short as you, but still pretty small). She hasn't got big, white teeth. Her nose is wonky, and puffy at the end. She has bandy legs. If you lined her up with Naomi, Claudia, Nadja, Heidi, Helena, etc ... she looked like the ugly duckling.
But within a couple of years, she was the most "in demand" catwalk model in the world.
She showed the world that there is no single "model look" or "model shape".
So don't let anyone talk you out of it.
And, whatever you do ... do NOT talk YOURSELF out of it.
Just be prepared to work your butt off, and remember ... for every 60 seconds you spend in front of a camera, you will probably spend 6 hours hanging around in a changing room, and even longer sitting on a train.
