My cat is really noisy especially in a morning when I am giving her breakfast she will eat a little then carry on meowing i give her lots of attention but need to know how i can get her to quiet down
I know some breeds for example, Siamese, can be very vocal even when they are eating. Also, young cats and kittens sometimes do this when they are being fed amongst the rest of the litter when very young. Could stem from there.
A similar story was on here some months back,so I'll just repeat what I said then. Some cats are what is known as dependant cats,my daughters was the same, you must keep talking to them as much as you can,it must be something to do with feeling insecure I really don't know.all I do know is that it worked for my daughters little cat and I hope that it works for yours,I wish you good luck.
Hi Donna .Our moggy is 14 and if she doesn't like the food she has been offered she will moan until she gets something else...........just used to getting her way......cries for attention..to get out..it's in their nature..........
