I've just come back from a walk and I didn't need my waterproof jacket.  It's had a lot of use up to now!

Watching my local village cricket team win their first league game of the season, helped by an excellent new Australian wicket-keeper/batsman. 

In spite of the decent weather, some other games were cancelled because of still-sodden pitches, so we're already top of the division!

The daughters of a neighbouring family had a cake sale to add funds to their aunts sponsorship for her run in the London Marathon.

It started at 10 o'clock yesterday and by noon the heavens had opened.  They were rained off. Typical Spring day here in Belfast.

I'd bought two fairy cakes and had them for breakfast.  They were tasty but at a fiver each not something I'd want to become accustomed to.

They weren't asking that, the tenner was my donation.
