Labour easily outvoted the "Workers" Party of Britain in Rochdale. So much for Galloway's revolution of religious bigotry

last I read, the Lib Dems got more votes than the Tories. The anti-Tory vote was huge; it split three or four ways, but Reform went nowhere.

Hmmmm...... I spy with my little eye something beginning with 'D'.

Damn right you do SP. It's called The Detroit Project. A little scheme not spoken about by Khan to fleece the drivers in London. Did you know about it? I bet many stupid saps who voted for Khan have not heard of his lmoney grabbing schemes to  supplement his fiscal ineptitude.

Stupid saps???

That's a little strong. I don't agree with many of the policies put forward by Susan Hall. I don't believe in her poltitics but I wouldn't go as far to label her supporters "stupid saps".

Political discoure has gotten way too toxic recently.

Not sure why*

I used to live in London and would've 100% voted for Khan because the alternative didn't present a stong enough case. Hall lauched a campaign on what she opposed - not what she was for.

I genuinely can't work out why the Tories went with her. I assumew that they thought the right wing press had persuaded enough of their readers to secure a thumping Tory majory in London so that *anyone* could stand for mayor and have a decent chance.

Not so.

They should've picked a moderate, not a...whatever wing Hall represents.

Wasted opportunity. Despite the losses throghout the UK, the Tories could've pointed to London and said, "Look at that!".

...but with Hall as their candidate, it was never ever gonna happen.

mmmmmmmm

Of course you are SP. It is very infectious and caught from listening to toxic lies from Khan. He should of run a massage parlour. He is a past master at massaging his stats.

Ah, well. That's democracy. The people have spoken and that should be an end to it.

^Yes it should.  Likewise with Brexit and the Scottish referendum.
